Lamswool is considered the highest quality sheep's wool.  It is taken from the baby sheep at the first shearing when the sheep is about 7 months old.  It is also the most hypoallergenic of all wools.  Recommend hand wash in cold water with mild (baby) detergent dry flat, or dry clean.  Each lambswool blanket is packaged in a little lamb white decorative box.
